Recentism!!

[edit]

As this school does not yet exist this is a turbo-charged case of "Recentism". Probably it qualifies the article for speedy deletion. However, I think you are editing in good faith, so I will not propose it for CSD.

You might consider moving it to your own user space and working on it there, even if only to prevent it getting deleted by someone more ferocious than me. Greenmaven (talk) 03:56, 17 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It wasn't me who created the article, but it was me who added references to give it substance. It is hardly a case of recentism - the school has been in the news for the past six months and has received extensive coverage in local and national press. There is no reason why future schools shouldn't receive coverage. As a secondary school it will automatically meet the notability criteria used by the schools wikiproject (see WP:NHS). The fact that it doesn't admit pupils for another ten weeks is neither here nor there - it has staff, premises, and approval from the DfE. --Simple Bob a.k.a. I have also edited this article to try to give it more balance. I am a member of the Parents' Voice group and a Trustee of the school. I understand the comment regarding "Recentism". The school officially opens next week and I will try to reflect this in subsequent edits, whilst respecting the previous work of others. As somebody connected with the school you should be very mindful of Wikipedia's conflict of interest policy. --Simple Bob a.k.a. The Spaminator (Talk) 15:10, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced alumni

[edit]

I removed the changed made in these edits, 30 Nov 2021. They claims were unsourced. Unable to find any mention through the school or elsewhere, so think likely non-notable anyway. AukusRuckus (talk) 02:19, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
